The Alabama Department of Mental Health (ADMH) is in the process of reviewing provider payment rates for services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. To support this effort, ADMH contracted with Burns & Associates, a division of Health Management Associates (HMA-Burns), to support the review and develop recommendations. HMA-Burns has developed draft recommendations and is providing an opportunity for stakeholders to comment on these recommendations.

Public Review and Comment

ADMH and HMA-Burns want to hear from community stakeholders before HMA-Burns finalizes the recommendations for presentation to ADMH. HMA-Burns encourages all interested stakeholders to review relevant materials and provide comments, in as detailed a manner as possible, and submit written comments.

Links to the materials for public review and comment are provided below. A recording that provides a detailed overview of the rate models can be accessed here.
